No surprises yet, I am still using Leonie Morgan’s “100 Colourful Granny Squares to Crochet”. This week it is Flower in the Web 2 on page 52.

I did spend a considerable amount of time trying to find a different resource,  in the local library and online. I have borrowed “201 crochet motifs, blocks and ideas” by Melody Griffiths and will use some of these blocks, I ran out of time to use it this week.

The really clever thing about Leonie Morgan’s book, is that all her blocks are designed to be the same finished size.  In this way, by using the same colour pallet throughout, I will ultimately be able to join them together to make a kind of sampler blanket.

This is one of those projects that evolves as it goes and almost takes on a life of its own. I am starting to really enjoy the challenge.
