Granny Square - Woven Ribbon Block

This is the tenth block I have made from “201 crochet motifs, block, projects & ideas” by Melody Griffiths, and it can be found on page 65. Crocheting the eight ribbons was a little tedious but the final product was more than worth it. It is one of those blocks that not only looks good but it feels good as well. I measured 14.5 cm x 14.5 cm.

As you may know, if you are following my blog, I have challenged myself to make 50 different granny squares. Within that challenge, I set a goal of choosing ten blocks from each book that has suitable patterns. So, I have achieved the mini goal with this book of Melody Griffiths’ and now it’s time to find a new book. That will be a challenge in itself.
