I’m on holiday and have to keep my airline baggage to the absolute minimum because cheap fares allow for only carry-on baggage. I brought some embroidery panels that I had made from an iron-on kit and squares of unbleached calico. I decided to embroider everything in black so I only needed to bring two skeins of thread. This is the first time I have attempted anything like this faux blackwork. I’m pretty happy, so far.
